We Have A Logo / Icon

I know it is not much of an update in game generation progress for Omega Connection, but I thought I would post the logos / icons that have been created for the game.  I’m pretty fond of the black and white icons myself to the point that my Twitter account uses one of them for the logo.

If you were wondering, the O and C represent both Omega Connection and Order Chaos while the Trishula (trident looking thingy) represents Balance.  Which is what the game is all about.  So, yes, very happy with the logo designs.

In other news, I have written the first round of voice over scripts and have a few sets of recordings from some very talented voice actors.  After all the scripts have been completed and the remaining parts have been cast I will announce who each of these actors are along with some samples of a few of the characters.  Everything I have gotten back thus far sounds absolutely incredible and I am in complete awe to be working with such amazing actors.

Lastly, the rewrite for the voxel to polygon conversion is coming along swimmingly.  Testing out all the possibilities that I can think of using the new algorithm and then tweaking to get things just right.  Rinse and repeat.  Once the last sections are complete I will be certain to post some new images and videos for the full procedurally generated land outputs, as well as provide an overview of the next steps in the journey that is the creation of Omega Connection.

There you have it.  Still going strong with creating my dream video game, one which I hope – in the end – you will enjoy.
